15ct early Australiana

This is truly a collectors piece. Made in 15ct gold, and very typical of the work done by the early Australian jewellers, this piece features a hand painted image of a young boy, with his hair woven on the reverse side. As you will see from the other images, the central piece independantly swivels, to allow the hair to be shown from the front
Measuring 3.8cm in height x 3.3cm wide, it not only looks superb, but also makes a very nice and elegant statement.
One of the nicest, and more unique piece of Australian antiques that we have come across.
