This is a fantastic World War One era watch that was made in 1918 that has so many wonderful features with it.

 To begin with it was made in a sterling silver "Borgel" case meaning that this watch can not be opened via the back, but rather the entire movement comes out through the front, somewhat similar to a monocoque case, but differs by needing to be unscrewed. This was done to attempt to make the watch as water proof as possible.
 The case measures 34mm plus the crown and looks great on the wrist!

 Another great feature is that the entire case is made in sterling silver instead of nickle silver or a gun metal case, and the case has the hallmarks for being made in London in 1918.
 
 The dial of this watch not only looks superb with the white enamel, Arabic numerals and sub-seconds, but is 100% original with only the smallest of hairline crazing near the 11 o'clock position. Even when you hold this watch in your hand this is very difficult to see.

 The fully jewelled Swiss made manual wind movement runs perfect, and the time is set by pressing in the pin near the 4 o'clock position and turning the crown making this alone a great talking point.

 If you are after a great vintage watch from the World War One era, that will be a great conversation starter and not only looks superb but keeps great time, then this one is a real gem.
