This is an exciting find indeed.
A complete set dating from the 1870's made up of a Whitby Jet brooch with a porcelain portrait, complete with the original earrings to match.
So many of these were broken up as sets over the years, so this is a wonderful find.
The brooch measures 4cm across by 4.8cm from to to bottom, and the earrings a impressive 5.3cm in length.
The overall set makes a wonderful statement, and is an antique cameo and earrings set to love forever.
