This is a wonderful and unusual cameo from the Victorian era of the 1880's.
Made with a traditional shell cameo of a womans profile, the added beautiful part is that it is mounted on a Whitby Jet base.
The entire piece measures 50mm x 42mm and would look perfect day or night.
