This is a wonderful antique brooch from the Art Nouveau era, and hallmarked for Birmingham 1889.
Made in sterling silver, it is highlighted with rose gold and green gold. Green gold is a colour of gold no longer produced today, and it looks superb here to highlight the leaves.
Measuring 3.4cm x 2.6cm, this wonderful Art Nouveau brooch is a great example of jewellery made over 100 years ago.
