Antique Georgian garnet & paste ring.

Jewellery from the Georgian era are so sought after and becoming so hard to find and even harder still to find one in good condition - and here we have a wonderful find indeed.

Made in 9ct rose gold, this Georgian era ring dates from around 1740 and is set with a garnet in the centre with paste on either side.
With the paste set in silver and the garnet back enclosed, these were two practices so typical of the jewellers from the Georgian right through the early to mid-Victorian times.

A fantastic piece of history that can be worn on the finger that is still in amazing condition.
A real find and a real beauty.
