Antique Art Nouveau natural pearl and diamond necklace

Art Nouveau jewellery is often made in a wonderful asymmetrical design, and this can clearly be seen here in this beautiful Art Nouveau pearl and diamond necklace.

Hand made in 14 carat gold and platinum in the early 1900’s, the design alone is just so beautiful to admire and will be perfect for that special dress and occasion.

Then of course there is the combination of natural pearls and diamonds to add sparkle and even more elegance to this necklace.

Set with six lovely pearls and eight smaller rose cut diamonds and ten larger European cut diamonds, these diamond come together to total 0.30 carats and sparkle so beautifully.

Laid out from end to end, the necklace measures a perfect 45.5cm and from the chain where it connects to the main section, to the bottom of the drop, this distance measures 5cm making it sit perfectly on the neckline.

This really is such an elegant necklace that not only looks magnificent, but also belies its age and will surprise many when they discover that it is over 100 years old, yet still looks remarkably modern at the same time.
