Edwardian era antique opal and diamond ring made in 1903. This ring was hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and set with a solid Australian opal. Not only regarded as the home to the worlds best opals, but Australia is also produces more opals than anywhere in the world, at around 90%. From the solid black opals of Lightning Ridge, the white opals from Coober Pedy, there is also the lovely boulder opals and opal doublets and triplets.
This antique opal and diamond ring is set with a solid white opal and surrounded by antique European cut diamonds in a very elegant lozenge shape.
