Imagine this antique ring on your finger and how much it sparkles and how much pleasure it will give you to wear it everyday. Beautifully hand made in the late Victorian era of the 1890’s, this magnificent antique diamond ring is made with 5 main diamonds surrounded by 23 more diamonds to create a truly dazzling and regal looking ring that is perfect for any occasion.
Measuring 18.5mm from left to right by 11.2mm wide at the centre, the ring itself has a wonderful curve to it making it hug the finger so well.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold and silver on the top, silver was used before the 1900’s as white gold was not yet invented and platinum was not used in jewellery until the early 1900’s. The use of silver was used to retain the wonderful whiteness in the diamonds and here the diamonds sparkle magnificently.
In the ring there are 5 main diamonds across that are the lovely antique European cut diamonds and total 0.77 carats and then surrounding it are 18 more European cut diamonds that total 1.08 carats bringing the total diamond weight in the ring to 1.85 carats. The old European cut diamonds still have the same 58 facets as the modern brilliant cut diamond however they have the charm of a hand cut diamond.
This is such a charming antique diamond ring that sparkles magnificently and looks amazing on the finger.
