Antique ruby and diamond brooch made in the Edwardian era

Here is such an elegant antique ruby and diamond brooch that was hand made in the Edwardian era that will be the perfect accessory for any outfit, and always be admired every time that it is worn.

Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold, the brooch is set with a European cut diamond in the centre that measures 0.14 carats and is surrounded by eighteen rubies in a heart shape. The heart shape really stands out with the rubies and adds such a romantic look and feel to the brooch, and these rubies combine total 0.90 carats.

And then to add even more charm and character, on each side are three mine cut diamonds set into a design somewhat reminiscent of blue bells and then there is a rose cut diamond set at each end. These additional diamonds total 0.78 carats and add such an elegant sparkle to the brooch making it stand out during the day as well as the evening.

Measuring 47.5mm across by 14.8mm wide in the centre, this is such a beautiful and charming brooch from the romantic Edwardian era.
