Made in 15ct gold, this Victorian era ring is set with a lovely 0.05 carat European cut diamond in the centre, the ring is further highlighted with four vibrant rubies and two pearls. The way the gemstones have been set adds that extra level of charm and character often seen in antique jewellery. To start with the diamond is in what is sometimes referred to as a gypsy setting where there is a star pattern surrounding the stone. This style of bead work can also be seen on the way the pearls have been set.
Measuring 7.4mm wide at the centre by 17mm across from one pearl to the other, this ring is so comfortable to wear all the time and a wonderful example of an antique ring that looks as elegant and beautiful today as when it was made well over 120 years ago.
