Here is a wonderful example of an antique bangle that was made well over 100 years ago, yet still looks so beautiful and is perfect to wear all the time.
Dating from the 1890's, the bangle has a wonderful buckle design that was very popular during the Victorian era and makes such an impact on the wrist. Measuring 24.9mm wide or 28.5mm wide at the buckle section, the buckle design raises the surface of the bangle giving it a beautiful design that is highlighted further still by the exquisite hand engraving along the top.
Being hinged allows it to sit nice and close to the wrist and it is also fitted with a safety chain for added security.
As beautiful today as when it was made, this is a gorgeous example of Victorian jewellery.
