Can an Art Deco diamond engagement ring get any more beautiful? This one is so typical of the fine quality jewellery that was produced in the post war era of the 1920's to the 1940's that resulted in platinum being used often in jewellery and fabulous geometric designs.
This ring was entirely hand made in platinum and is set in the centre with a fabulous old European cut diamond that measures 1.15 carats and is G in colour and VS in clarity. The European cut diamond has the same amount of 58 facets as today's modern brilliant cut diamond, but as these diamonds were cut by hand, the angles were different to the modern diamond today. Genuine old cut diamonds are becoming increasingly popular today and the brilliance in this one is just superb.
Looking closely at the setting around the diamond it has a further twelve single cut diamonds that total 0.12 carats which adds that extra charm and character to an already spectacular ring.
The setting in this ring is just one reason why genuine Art Deco rings are so popular and the detail in this ring is just spectacular. And surrounding the setting are a further twelve diamonds to add to the sparkle of the setting.
For an outstanding Art Deco engagement ring, this one not only feels great on the finger it looks equally as spectacular.
