Here is a very beautiful Edwardian era antique diamond ring with fancy sides that would suit any finger, including making the most wonderful and charming engagement ring.
Hand made in the early 1900's in 18 carat gold, the ring is set with a lovely antique European cut diamond that seems to suspend magically in the centre of the ring. With an elegant bezel separated from the diamond, this gives the ring such unique look to it that is matched with the beautiful detail on each side. The way this detail on the side leads to the smooth half round band comes together perfectly to showcase the quality and talent of the jewellers of the early 20th century.
With the diamond measuring 0.24 carats, the round bezel measures 7.6mm wide and the ring sits so well on the finger with the diamond being very well protected.
This is such an attractive example of an antique diamond ring that looks as beautiful today as the day it was created.

Edwardian era antique diamond ring with fancy sides.
This antique diamond ring dates from the early 1900's and would make a wonderful example of a genuine antique diamond engagement ring. Set with a European cut diamond, these earlier antique cut diamonds have been increasingly popular for engagement rings as not only were they cut entirely by hand all those years ago, but are also conflict-free diamonds. The European cut diamond is the forerunner to today’s modern round brilliant cut diamond, in recent years there has been such a resurgence for people wanting antique mine cut diamonds and antique European cut diamonds. Antique diamond engagement rings are always hand made making each one completely individual and are true one-off.
