Fancy link antique silver chain measuring 79cm in length

This antique chain looks and feels amazing around the neck, thanks to the fantastic weight of it combined with the amazing detail in the links.

Made in the 1890's, the necklace measures 79cm in length, and as it is fitted with a swivel, it is likely that this chain was originally a much longer guard or muff chain that has been shortened at some time. This does not detract from it one bit, as the links are just amazing to admire from near or far, and besides being painstakingly hand made, the links measure 5.3mm wide.

This necklace will certainly stand out from near or far, and can so easily accommodate a pendant or locket of any size to hang from the swivel.
