Exquisitely hand made in platinum in the 1920's, this brooch is the epitome of high quality Art Deco jewellery and exemplifies all that this wonderful era was about.With a wonderful geometric and symmetrical design that capture the eye, sitting proudly in the centre is a European cut diamond that measures 1.45 carats and is E in colour and Si in clarity. This beautiful white diamond throws of so much sparkle and is highlighted on each side by four vibrant natural emeralds that add an amazing amount of colour to contrast against the pure white of both the diamonds and the platinum.
Surrounding the emeralds as well as the border are an a total of 110 more European cut diamonds that come together to total an astonishing and dazzling 4.07 carats, bringing the total diamond weight to 5.52 carats.

This brooch was hand made entirely in platinum in the 1920's. Set with European cut diamonds, these hand cut diamonds were the forerunner to today's modern round brilliant cut diamond. Increasing in popularity in recent years, modern European cut diamonds as well as mine cut diamonds are being cut once again in the diamond workshops of Antwerp and India, however nothing beats a genuine antique cut diamond.
