Platinum sapphire and diamond lozenge shaped ring.

Here is a stunning ring that was hand made in platinum and made in such a design that it extends down the finger and really makes a statement.

Set with sapphires and diamonds in a very elegant lozenge shape, the ring measures 23.6mm in length by 12.5mm wide and day or night will really stand out.

The ring is set with 35 old European cut diamonds on the top with a further 2 diamonds on each side and the total weight of the diamonds is a dazzling 1.04 carats.

Highlighting all of the diamonds and divine work are the 2 rows of sapphires, with each row set with 9 sapphires and the 18 sapphires total 0.27 carats and set against the platinum really highlight the entire ring.

The sapphires and diamonds have all been milgrain set where there is that elegant "crimping" on the sides of the stones, and this ring is very much in the Art Deco style but is actually a new one and one of the best reproduction pieces that we have ever seen thanks to the ring being made in platinum and hand made rather than cast made and the old cut diamonds and traditional milgrain setting.

Even turning the ring upside down will show so much detail and the quality of this ring.

Platinum is such a wonderful material to work with to maintain strength and retain a pure white colour and this sapphire and diamond ring is simply stunning and on the finger really stands out thanks to the design, length and combination of both sapphires and diamonds in a style reminiscent of the Art Deco period of the 1920's.
