WWII Jaeger LeCoultre British military GSTP pocket watch

Here is not only a vintage pocket watch that was made by one of the finest watchmaking companies in the world, Jaeger LeCoultre, but one that is also made all the more amazing by the fact that this pocket watch was issued and used during World War II.

Fitted in a chrome plated case that measures 51.5mm across, it has been kept all original and unpolished and shows the various scratches and wear on the case as a testament to its history and where it has been. The case back is stamped with the British broad arrow and GS/TP which stood for General Service Trade Pattern, although many people (incorrectly) call them General Service Time Piece. Either way, there is no denying that this is a great looking pocket watch that looks and feels amazing to hold.

When restoring this pocket watch, we also chose to keep the dial 100% original without re-luming the numbers or replacing the hands, and combined with the look of the case, this pocket watch is all the more better for it. This pocket watch is so full of character and will remain such an incredible talking point.

Inside is the magnificent 15 jewelled manual wind Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 467/2 movement that has been completely serviced and runs perfectly as well as coming with our twelve month warranty.

From a fantastic watch maker, to a war that changed the world, this vintage pocket watch is a true collectors piece.
