Art Deco diamond engagement ring with butterfly designs on the side
This diamond engagement ring is so beautiful and exciting from every angle that you look at it, and will no doubt always be cherished, loved and admired every time that it is worn.
Made in 18 carat white gold by the American jewellery company Belais Manufacturing Company in the 1920's, its founder David Belais was one of the first jewellers to create white gold with his patent for it becoming so popular and sought after, that white gold jewellery produced during this time in America, was often called “Belais metalâ€.
The detail in this ring is so exciting with not only the lovely open work, but around the diamond is the most gorgeous and romantic butterfly design that is repeated around the setting. It is small details such as this that make engagement rings from the Art Deco period so much more exciting, and shows why they are as popular today as when they were made.
And in the centre sits a genuine antique mine cut diamond that measures 0.92 carats and is J in colour and Si in clarity. This diamond truly faces up so beautiful, and has such a magnificent sparkle to it. Genuine antique European and mine cut diamonds are getting so sought after today, and combine this with the gorgeous design of the ring itself, and this makes a ring like this one that will certainly not last long in the shop.
