This Art Deco diamond ring sits so well on the finger and looks truly amazing and will no doubt always be loved and admired for its elegance and design and highlights why Art Deco jewellery of the 1920's to the 1940's has remained so popular throughout the decades. Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, running at an angle are three European cut diamonds. The forerunner to today's modern round brilliant cut diamond, the two smaller European cut diamonds total 0.40 carats and the centre one measures 0.28 carats. These diamonds are millgrain set which was a popular technique of the Art Deco era and can be seen as the fine crimping along the edge of the setting which adds a further element of detail to an already very beautiful ring. And then set on each side are four single cut diamonds that add the right amount of extra sparkle to the ring, and these come together to total 0.24 carats. Sitting perfectly on the finger where it will no doubt always be admired, this Art Deco ring is as beautiful today as when it was made. Stock# ES8790 Circa: 1920 $3,200
