The curb link padlock bracelet is such a traditional design and here is a very beautiful and unique night and day bracelet that was made in 1908. The night and day curb link bracelet was thought to have originated to wear the plain side during the day and the engraved side during the night. While this does have merit, it is more realistic that this was a design feature that was named so after its inception. Often found with rounded links, this one follows that path however with one side having an amazing hammer finish to it as opposed to engraved links. With each ling measuring 10mm wide, it is made in 9 carat rose gold with the rose gold having such a wonderful warm colour to it. Beautiful antique Albertina dating from the Victorian era
Here is such an elegant ladies antique Albertina that has the most beautiful links as well as a wonderful tee bar and tassel. When these were first made, the Albertina’s were originally made to hold a ladies pocket watch at one end and attached to an outfit via the tee bar, however today these are more commonly worn as a bracelet where they drape beautifully over the wrist.
