Here is a wonderful Art Nouveau amethyst and pearl fringe necklace that sits perfectly on the neckline and takes you back to a fabulous era over a century ago.
With gorgeous draping chain, this necklace embodies the free flowing and artistic style inspired by nature that is characteristic of the Art Nouveau period of the late 19th to early 20th centuries yet has a style that is as popular and fashionable to wear today as when it was made all those years ago.
Made in 14ct yellow gold, the necklace is set with four natural pearls among the draping chain with an additional two natural pearls at the centre on each side of a round facetted amethyst. And then there is the briolette cut amethyst suspended at the bottom which highlights this necklace so well and both the amethysts and natural pearls come together so well in beautiful soft colours that look so feminine against the neckline.
Laid out from end to end the necklace measures a comfortable 42cm and when laid down from where one pearl starts at one end across to the other side, this distance measures 10.5cm by 4.8cm drop at the centre.

Antique REGARD ring made in 1901
Acrostic jewellery is traditionally where the first letter of each gemstone "spells" out a word such as "Regard" or "Dearest", whereas here we have a lovely antique REGARD ring made in 1901 that literally spells out the word "Regard".
Made in 9ct rose gold, the ring elegantly tapers from 6.7mm to 3.3mm wide at the back and the colour of the gold has such a wonderful warm tone to it that is so desired today.
Dating from 1901, it has that incredibly Art Nouveau font of the word "regard" which is highlighted by the stippled background and polished finish of each letter.

Enamel and diamond Art Nouveau pendant
The Art Nouveau era was from the 1890's until the start of World War One and was often inspired and influenced by nature and this is no more evident than can be seen here in this truly magnificent enamel and diamond Art Nouveau pendant. Beautifully hand made in 18ct yellow gold, this pendant has all the sensuous and feminine lines characterised by Art Nouveau jewellery which is made all the more wonderful by the green and pink enamel. To further enhance this piece, it is set with seven pearls and on the top bail are three rose cut diamonds that add sparkle to the pendant but were never designed to take away from the beauty of the enamel and pearls. Liberty & Co Art Nouveau amethyst pendant
Liberty & Co were one of the most influential jewellery stores of the late 19th, early 20th century for the Art Nouveau era and produced some amazing pieces of jewellery such as this Art Nouveau amethyst pendant and pearl made in rose gold. Liberty and Co started in 1875 by Arthur L. Liberty in England and really embraced the "new" Art Nouveau styles coming into fashion which can be seen here with the elegant flowing designs of this pendant.
Made in 9ct rose gold, the rose colour of the gold is so warm and has achieved the patina that only an antique piece of jewellery can achieve and looks so wonderful against the skin and set with two amethysts that compliments perfectly with the rose gold.
At the bottom is a natural white pearl that completes this piece so well and the entire style is so characteristic of the jewellery produced in the Liberty & Co workshop. The pendant measures 37.1mm wide by 37mm to the pearl or 52.3mm from the top amethyst connected to the two chains to the pearl at the bottom and really looks amazing on the neckline and will always stand out and be admired.

Antique ruby & diamond Art Nouveau era ring
Antique rings so often have such a unique and individual style all unto themselves and this antique ruby and diamond ring from the early 1900's is certainly unique and one ruby and diamond ring that will always stand out and look amazing on the finger. Hand made in 18ct gold, the ring is set with 2 European cut diamonds with a further 5 rose cut diamonds on each side.
The lovely antique rose cut diamonds have so much charm about them and sit so well on each side and add just the right amount of sparkle to the ring and of course the larger diamonds shine beautifully.
Then there are those two very vibrant natural red rubies that really stand out set amongst all the diamonds. These rubies have such a strong colour to them and will look match a strong red fingernail polish to combine and make a statement.
The total weight of the diamonds is 0.60 carats and the rubes 0.16 carats, and the ring measures 1.7cm from top to bottom i.e from one European cut diamond to the other and really helps to accentuate the finger.
