Antique enamel and diamond necklace with lockets set into the back
Here is a necklace that is so beautiful from near or far and a wonderful testament to the style of the mid-Victorian era in which this was made.
Dating from the 1870's, the necklace was made in 15 carat gold and laid out from end to end it measures 40.5cm in length and sits perfectly around the neckline. However it is the three drop sections combined with the lower chain connecting them that really makes this piece stand out.
The two side drop measure 4.2cm in length and the centre one 5cm, and not only is it set with a pearl in the centre like the side one, but it is also set with six rose cut diamonds that capture the light beautifully. These drops really are magnificent to admire and make you appreciate the elegance of the Victorian era in which this was made.
And then there is the final pièce de résistance to this necklace to take it even further into making this even more special and personal. The back of each of the drops has been fitted with a locket that once photos of loved ones are placed inside, will make this so much more special and personal to the wearer.

Antique sterling silver double sided photo locket made in the 1890’s
This antique sterling silver photo locket was made over 130 years ago, yet is still as fashionable and beautiful today as when it was made.
Able to hold two photos inside, the locket was made in sterling silver by the English company W. Lund and Co in the 1890's. With a gorgeous design running across the front depicting a floral design, the locket measures 25mm across by 31.5mm or 45mm to the top of the bail at the top.

Antique ruby, diamond and pearl pendant with a locket on the reverse side

Made in the Victorian period of the 1870's in 15 carat gold, the pendant measures 29mm across by 62.3mm from the bottom to the top of the fancy bail. Set in the centre is a vibrant natural ruby that measures 0.25 carats and is highlighted in a very beautiful way with four natural pearls and twelve rose cut diamonds. With four incredibly elegant Fleur-dis-lis designs on the outside each set with more natural pearls and rose cut diamonds, these designs adds so much to the charm and character of the locket. The diamonds total 0.14 carats and capture the light so elegantly, as does the design set between each Fleur-dis-lis.

Antique pocket watch key with a locket and intaglio of the Cootes family
Here is such a wonderful and exciting antique pocket watch key that is that and so much more.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold in the 1870's, not only does this have a pocket watch key that can rotate into itself securely, but it also has a locket on one side and a carved intaglio seal on the other.
The bloodstone intaglio has the Latin phrase "Vincit Veritas" which translates to "Truth conquers" and with this as well as the bird sitting on the top of the intaglio and other aspects of it, leads it to the being the family seal of the Cootes, which actually goes as far back as 1066.
With the locket on the other side having a dome front to magnify the image, and a beautiful design at the top, this would of course not only suit a pocket watch, but make a wonderful and very unique and special locket.

Antique early Australian antique brooch locket made in the 1870’s
This antique brooch is not only so exquisitely detailed and made, but a wonderful example of early Australian jewellery which has become increasingly sought after and collectable in recent years.
Made in the 1870's in 15 carat gold, the colour of the gold has wonderful rich colour that looks amazing set against any outfit.
