Fancy Art Deco onyx and diamond ring from the 1920’s
Art Deco rings of the 1920's to 1940's have never gone out of fashion or style and here is a stunning Art Deco onyx and diamond ring that looks breathtaking on any finger.
Entirely hand made in platinum in the 1920's, this ring combines the pure white colour of platinum with the black onyx in a superb design and colour combination that contrasts so well against each other.
In such a unique way, the onyx set into this ring is not just one piece, rather it is made up of multiple faceted pieces that fit absolutely perfect together and would have been so time consuming to cut with such an exact finish to them all.
Then there is the sparkle from the diamonds to make this Art Deco ring shine so well.
In the centre is a round semi-modern cut diamond that measures 0.15 carats and then surrounding the setting is the sparkle from 18 more diamonds that total 0.16 carats.
From left to right the top of the ring measures 13.9mm by 15.2mm and when you look on the side of the band you will see how expertly hand engraved the ring is.
Art Deco onyx and diamond rings always look so elegant on the finger and this one is one that will always be admired and appreciated to the fine quality and expert craftsmanship.

There is something so special and magical about diamond Art Deco rings and this hand made platinum Art Deco diamond ring is certainly no exception and looks spectacular on the finger.
This Art Deco ring was all hand made in platinum in the fabulous 1920's era where wonderful geometric designs combined with the use of platinum was common.
Art Deco jewellery was not just about putting diamonds into a setting, rather you often get fabulous "shapes in a shape" which can be seen with the round diamond in the centre in a octagonal setting.
The diamond in the centre measures 0.85 carats and is H in colour and Si clarity and then to highlight the ring even more, the ring is set with 24 more diamonds that have a total weight of 1.44 carats.Â
These other diamonds have been milgrain set which is the fine crimping along the setting and being in platinum allowed the jewellery who created this ring to have that very elegant pierce work along the setting.
On the side where the diamond is set into a triangular setting across to the other side, it measures 13mm across by 18mm from end to end.
The top of the ring has an elegant curve to it allowing it to wrap over the finger so elegantly and down the band it has very elegant fine hand engraving to add to the charm even more.Â
No matter what finger this ring goes on, it is destined to always be admired and loved.
