18ct Waltham pocket watch
Made in 1896.
What a wonderful antique pocket watch!
Made in solid 18ct yellow gold, this gents size full hunter pocket watch was made by the Waltham watch company in 1896.
The case is especially lovely in that it is perfectly plain, with no engraving or engine turning at all. The dial is in the tradition style of having Roman numerals and sub-seconds.
The inside dust cover has wonderful hand engraving saying: "Cecil Hope Cohen from his dear father on attaining 13 years of age. July 5th 1901"
* Cecil Hope Cohen was born on the 5th July, 1888 and served in World War I where he was injured, and later died at the British Army Hospital, London November 18th 1918. *
The movement, which has been overhauled and fully serviced is a 13 jewelled movement with a Breguet over-coil hairspring, and keeps perfect time.
A truly wonderful pocket watch in 18ct gold.

Rolex pocket watch
From the 1920's.
This is a lovely Rolex pocket watch from the 1920's.
With a very high grade 17 jewelled movement, it has been timed in 6 positions, and runs wonderfully.
The case is a 14ct gold filled case.
The dial is original, and does show the word "Rolex", which you can see in the 3rd image. It does not show to well on this main page due to reflection from the camera.
This watch has been fully serviced, and comes with a warranty.

Victorian clock
With lovely marquetry inlay.
This lovely Victorian clock dating from the 1880's has the most wonderful marquetry inlay. The attention to detail is quite superb.
A clock such as this would look stunning on a mantle shelf and is sure to be a talking point in the home.
Measuring 35cm high x 22cm wide, it features a French 8-day movement that has been fully overhauled.

14ct ladies pocket watch
Circa 1910
This is such a sweet watch.
Made in 14ct yellow gold, this is a wonderful example of why ladies pocket watches are still popular today.
With the most beautifully engraved case both on the front and back, the watch also keeps perfect time, and dates from 1910.
The white enamel dial is in perfect condition with the retailers name of "Saunders" printed on as well.
With a fully jewelled Swiss movement, this not only looks great, but is a lovely timepiece as well.
