It was not simply a matter of setting diamonds in the case, but rather the style and design is what separates a good quality diamond watch from an exception one such as this one here. there is nothing quite like the feel and heft of a genuine pocket watch in the palm of your hand, and here is a lovely antique sterling silver pocket watch retailed by Angus & Coote. Angus & Coote was founded in Sydney in 1895 and is still around today throughout Australia so not only is it nice to own a lovely gents pocket watch in fantastic condition, but one with Australian history behind it. Made in 1922, the solid sterling silver case measures 52.5mm across by 71mm to the top of the bow and features the traditional engine turned style case. The engraving on the case is still so nice and sharp showing that this wasn't used excessively and still feels wonderful to the touch. So easy to read, it is also very easy to wind and set which is all done via the crown at the top. In exceptional condition comes this rare and collectable first series vintage Omega Genève Dynamic watch from 1968. The Omega Genève Dynamic was first released in 1968 - the year that this Omega Genève was made and featured its iconic and easily recognisable oval case design. Just two years later, the Omega Genève Dynamic went into the Omega DeVille range which had a polished case instead of the radial finish on this one. This particular Omega Dynamic is in exceptional condition. Far too often the term "as new" or New Old Stock is thrown around in a description, however these are two terms that can be used for this model. Firstly the case is in incredible condition with the radial finish still intact. This can be seen as the finish on the case that radiates away from the centre and is a finish that can't be replicated outside the Omega watch factory. The case measures 36mm from the 12 to 6 o'clock direction by 41mm from left to right and with its blue dial, white hands and blue sweep second hand, looks sensational on the wrist. Fitted on a blue Omega Dynamic Corfam band that was originally specifically designed for the Omega Dynamic, the band is actually all one piece from one end to the other as it goes under and around the watch case. Inside is the brilliant automatic Omega calibre 565 that has just come back fro ma full service, runs perfectly and comes with our twelve month warranty. In outstanding condition, this Omega Genève Dynamic is such a brilliant collectable watch that will always be admired. Stock# ES7047 Maker: Omega Model: Omega Geneve Dynamic Circa: 1968 $Sold
Here is without a doubt a truly amazing ladies Retro ruby and diamond watch from the 1950's that is just breathtaking and is equally a piece of jewellery as much as it is a watch. The Retro era of the 1950's is easily characterised by big, bold designs often in rose gold with both of these features easily seen in this watch. The design of this watch alone is just incredible and no matter where or when this watch is worn, will no doubt be admired. From end to end the watch measures 18cm in length and sits on the wrist beautifully thanks to the subtle curve of the case back. The case itself 5cm in length to where it connects to the band at each end, and from the side profile measures 4.5mm high at the base to 14.1mm high where the diamonds are set. And then making this watch case even more amazing, looking down from the top it measures 18.9mm at the top and tapers down to 14.4mm wide at the end. Set with six single cut diamonds and six square carre cut rubies, this really accentuates the case so beautifully. The use of the rubies and diamonds really showcases the watch so perfectly and takes it to that extra level of going from a day time watch to a watch that will look so elegant during the evening.
