Vintage 18 carat Patek Philippe 3578/1 with lapis lazuli case and hands
There is no doubt that Patek Philippe are regarded as the one of, if not the finest watch makers in the world, and here is a truly magnificent vintage Patek Philippe reference 3578/1 that is so unique and special and destined to always be admired for its elegance and style.
Made in 1975, the entire watch including the band is made in solid 18 carat yellow gold and wraps around the wrist so beautifully. Sitting on the wrist, this watch feels so smooth and tactile and slips perfectly under the sleeve.
However it is not just the yellow gold that makes this watch stand out, rather it each side that is set with an elongated piece of lapis lazuli, which is a natural material that is blue in colour with golden flecks of pyrite running through it.
And so typical of the true quality of Patek Philippe, not only are the index markers inlayed with more lapis, but astonishingly, so are the hands. This is just further justification on why Patek Philippe are so highly regarded the world over.
The case measures 30mm across plus the crown, and from end to end the watch measures 19.7cm in its full length and can be adjusted three sizes via the clasp.
And then as if Patek Philippe couldn't make this watch any more exciting, it is fitted with a Sigma dial. When looking at the bottom of the dial, on each side of the word “Swiss”, there is the Greek letter, Sigma which can be seen here – Ó. What this subtle yet important mark designates, is that the hands and index markers are in solid gold. Used by approximately seven watch companies in Switzerland from 1970, it was among its main reason to signify when gold parts were on the dial to subsequently add to both the financial and intrinsic value of a watch.
Powered inside by the gorgeous manual wind 18 jewelled Patek Philippe calibre 177 that has just undergone a full service and comes with our twelve month warranty, this is a magnificent watch that is as beautiful on the outside as it is to see that gorgeous movement.

Rare 1921 hermetic 14 carat gold Eberhard & Co Calotte Patrouille watch
Here is a very rare and very beautiful original antique Eberhard & Co Calotte Patrouille watch that was made in 1921 with the incredible hard to find black dial.
While this watch has been re-issued by Eberhard & Co, this is the original version, which like all originals, is still the best. Made in 1921, the case is a hermetic case, meaning that it is completely airtight to protect the inner workings from dust, humidity and water. While we would not recommend a vintage watch to be worn in the water, this was a technological leap in watchmaking 100 years ago.
The case is made from 14 carat rose gold, and finding an original Eberhard & Co Calotte Patrouille in gold alone is so hard to come by. The colour of the case has the most wonderful warm rose colour to it that adds to the black dial. With the case measuring 28mm across, this is a small watch however the interesting fact about this watch, is that when it was made it was actually a gents watch as Eberhard & Co did not make their first ladies watch until 1947. We have presented this watch on a new 8mm wide band, however this can easily be put onto a military style band that is much wider.
Not only is the case an incredibly exciting and rare case design along with a beautiful colour of gold, but the dial as well is just as spectacular. The black dial is all original and is designed with gold coloured numerals and sub-seconds. The black and rose gold is a winning combination that makes this watch all the more elegant and stylish.
Inside is a 16 jewelled manual wind Eberhard & Co Calotte movement that has just come back from an extensive service, runs beautifully and comes with our twelve month warranty.
Both on and off the wrist, this is such an incredibly beautiful watch that will always be such a wonderful conversation starter.

Vintage 14 carat gold Tissot Navigator world time watch made in 1953
Here is a very rare and totally original Tissot Navigator world time watch that was made in 1953 in a solid 14 carat gold case and looks as good today as when it was made all those years ago.
This innovative watch here is from the first generation Tissot Navigators and was launched in 1951 and produced through 1953, a year before the Rolex GMT and quickly became famous for its incredible world time as well as ease to set and read multiple time zones around the world. Make no mistake, this is a very rare and highly collectable original Tissot Navigator and not a later version including the Tissot Navigator Anniversary re-issue model - this is the original and still the best.
The central city disk (one location per time zone) rotates once every 24 hours and is read against a fixed 24-hour dial to indicate the time in each zone. The push button uncouples the city disk to allow local time to be set without disturbing world time. Local time (12 hours) is indicated on the bezel with the minute track placed at the farthest edge of the dial. This particular dial combines Bombay and Calcutta into India Standard Time, and replaces London with Greenwich. The dial is all original and has not been repainted or retouched in any way. It has achieved a perfect patina and looks incredible on the wrist.
The solid 14 carat gold case is exactly that, solid gold. This is not to be confused with the later gold plated cases or a stainless steel version, and measuring 35mm across plus the crown, it sits so well on the wrist and thanks to the dial actually appears much larger on the wrist than one might imagine.
Powered by the lovely 17 jewelled bumper automatic Tissot calibre 28-5N that has just come back from a complete service and overhaul, runs beautifully and comes complete with our twelve month warranty.
Certain watches are collectable, and certain watches are rare, and this one is both and is truly one of the finest examples around and one that is not to be missed.

Rare antique diamond and enamel ring watch made in the 1870’s
Every once in a while you come across something that is not only so exquisitely beautiful from every angle that you look at it, but unlike anything else out there.
Not only is this antique ring watch so exceedingly rare, but it is incredibly beautiful and it was so well made to such an incredibly high standard and is a true testament to the quality of the jewellers and watchmaker that made this over 150 years ago, that it is not only in superb condition but still running today.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold in the 1870's, the white enamel dial is all original and in pristine condition. As clean today as when it was made, it was made with black numbers except for the 12 which is in red. With its original hands, the dial is surrounded by twenty eight rose cut diamonds, and the border of diamonds measures 15mm in diameter.
With the dial set into the gorgeous lozenge shape top which itself measures 16.6mm across by 25.2mm, the top has been beautifully enamelled in a rich cobalt blue colour that has long been associated with royalty. Even the enamel is in superb condition and each end is set with a further three rose cut diamonds. The diamonds plus the ones around the dial come together to total 0.19 carats and add a delightful amount of sparkle to the ring.
Even the side of the top section is so exquisite to admire with the intricate and fine hand engraving, as is the remarkable band that it is sitting on with the split designed shoulders with more hand engraving running down.
And looking under the top section, there is a very discreet plate that can be slid open revealing two key holes. The one in the centre will set the time and the other will wind the cylinder escapement movement that has been painstakingly restored over several months and is now in full working order.
From every single angle that you look at this ring watch it will take your breath away and once gone, it is unlikely that you will ever see another let alone one a stunningly beautiful as this.

Vintage 18 carat gold back wind Jaeger LeCoultre watch
Jaeger Le Coultre has remained a world leader in watches thanks to incredible innovations such as the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso and the incredible Jaeger LeCoutlre Atmos clock which is powered by atmospheric temperature, and here is not only a very elegant watch, but one that has both the time set and wound via the crown under the watch case, which is known as a back-wind watch.
Made in the 1950's, this beautiful watch was made in 18 carat yellow gold and was designed with the most beautiful and elegant bracelet in a plaited design that not only looks so beautiful, but also wraps around the wrist with such a wonderful tactile feel to it. Measuring 17cm from end to end, this is such a comfortable watch to wear all the time, and is as much a bracelet as it is a watch.
The dial itself measures 11.2mm across and the section where the watch is set measures 23mm across, and the dial is very elegant with simple index markers as well as the 3, 6 and 9 numbers.
Turning the watch over reveals its true pièce de résistance - the crown to wind and set the watch. Being back wind allows for the crown to not interfere with the design of the watch and allows the plaited design to go around the outside of the watch without any interference to the style.
The movement has been completely serviced and comes with our twelve month warranty and there is little doubt that when this beautiful watch is worn, it will always get the admiration that it deserves.
