Here is such an elegant ladies antique Albertina that has the most beautiful links as well as a wonderful tee bar and tassel. When these were first made, the Albertinaâ€™s were originally made to hold a ladies pocket watch at one end and attached to an outfit via the tee bar, however today these are more commonly worn as a bracelet where they drape beautifully over the wrist. This one was made in 9 carat rose gold in the 1890â€™s and has a swivel clip at one end and a gorgeous tassel at the other. The tassel is in wonderful condition and has the foxtail link that is was the traditional links as many modern ones just have machine made fine curb links. The tee bar at the other end is just gorgeous and so feminine and adds to the charm and character of the Albertina. The link of the chain itself is so beautiful and tactile to touch and feel against the skin, and the gold has a beautiful soft tone making it look perfect against the skin. Measuring 28cm from end to end, when worn as a bracelet the swivel can easily attach to a link near the tee bar making it measure 20cm. Not only can this be worn as a bracelet, however joined with a second Albertina will make it a stunning necklace. When these were first made, the Albertina or leontine as it is also known as, was made to hold a ladies pocket watch on one end and attached to an outfit via the tee bar, however today these are more commonly worn as a bracelet and here is a very beautiful antique sterling silver Albertina with a fancy tee bar as well as other additions that makes this so elegant and feminine. From end to end it measures 25cm, however as a bracelet it measures 20cm and will have that gorgeous tee bar and heart and round piece hanging beautifully below the wrist. These additions give it such a feminine look, and with so many charm bracelet companies on the market today, there is nothing more special that a piece which is totally unique rather than mass produced.
