Antique aquamarine and seed pearl necklace made in the early 1900’s
This antique necklace was made in the early 1900's and is set with the most delicate soft blue colour aquamarines that look so beautiful set amongst the seed pearls in the wonderful design that will always be admired. Made in 9 carat gold, the necklace is typical of the work by the early Australian jewellers of this era. The way the two pear cut aquamarines at the bottom go to one side gives this necklace such a fluid and naturalistic look to it, even though the two stems coming down are fixed. Each set with charming seed pearls in a petal design with a further aquamarine at the top of each, set amongst the scroll design at the top are more aquamarines and seed pearls. And then with a final aquamarine at each end leading to the chain, this section from each end aquamarine across to the other measures 6.1cm across by 6.8cm from the top scroll to the lowest aquamarine. Antique Art Nouveau natural pearl and diamond necklace
Art Nouveau jewellery is often made in a wonderful asymmetrical design, and this can clearly be seen here in this beautiful Art Nouveau pearl and diamond necklace. Hand made in 14 carat gold and platinum in the early 1900's, the design alone is just so beautiful to admire and will be perfect for that special dress and occasion. Rose and yellow gold antique collar made in the 1880’s

Made in the Victorian era in the 1880's, this antique collar was made in 9 carat rose and yellow gold and has the distinct advantage of easily being able to be worn showing either side. With one side displaying the rose gold sections with a somewhat segmented design and the other side completely plain, the collar is fitted with a large bolt ring at one end which can be worn at the front as a feature or at the the back, can have something hanging off it such as a locket or seal, or its extension piece to either add length, or to hang from with a piece of jewellery at the bottom such as a locket as shown in one of the additional images. Antique curb and roller ball Albert chain made in 1900
The Albert chain was originally designed to hold a pocket watch to a gents waistcoat, however when men put down their pocket watches in place of the "new" wrist watches at the turn of the 20th century, after a while savvy woman started to wear these around their neck, and here is an amazing antique Albert chain that not only looks so beautiful but feels so tactile to touch and wear. Made in Birmingham in 1900, it was made in 9 carat rose gold and has such a lovely colour to it that has achieved a delightful patina that looks even better set against the skin. Made with the traditional curb links measuring 7mm wide, what separates this Albert chain from so many others, are the round facetted belcher links set between each curb link. Not only do these add a wonderful feature, but the way they roll through the fingers and even along the neck makes it both look and feel spectacular. This is a full double Albert and measures 44cm from end to end and has its original tee bar in the centre. Antique Whitby jet and cameo necklace from the 1880’s
Here is a truly spectacular antique necklace that is not only made in Whitby jet, but also has seven panels of hand carved cameos that makes this necklace stand out like no other. Whitby jet is a fossilized material of a tree called the Araucaria Tree which is also known as the Monkey Puzzle tree. Dense black in colour – which is where the term “Jet black” came from – the best material has always come from the town of Whitby in England, where it was mostly depleted by the end of the 20th century. With a wonderful tactile feel to it, the largest piece in the centre measures 35.2mm in length and the smallest oval pieces near the end 27.7mm in length. The round piece at the very ends measure 15mm in diameter, and laid out from end to end, it measures 40cm in length and sits so beautifully around the neck. This is the style of piece that will make any woman walk tall and feel so proud to wear this. The shell cameos depict various scenes such as St George slaying the dragon and The Three Graces. The way the soft colouring from the shell cameo is set into the black of the Whitby jet, really makes each piece compliment one another, and there is no doubt that whenever and wherever this necklace is worn, it will always get the attention that it rightly deserves.
