The curb link bracelet is a traditional bracelet style that is typical of the Victorian and Edwardian era's and here every second link on one side has engraving and the other side left plain in this antique 9ct rose gold night and day curb link bracelet made in 1902.
It is often thought that the plain side was worn during the day and the engraved side during the night, however these are most commonly worn with the engraved side showing all the time for all to admire. And why not, as the engraved links are just so beautiful to admire.
Each link measures 10.2mm wide and the bracelet is fitted with a very beautiful hand engraved heart shaped padlock which itself is so lovely and is also fitted with a safety chain for added security.
This lovely bracelet is from the Edwardian era and well over 100 years old and still in superb condition.
Hallmarked: Birmingham 1902
So called a "night & day" bracelet as one side is plain, and the other side every second link is engraved, comes this lovely antique 9ct rose gold night and day curb link bracelet.
Dating from the early 19oo's, this Edwardian era bracelet is still in superb condition even well after 100 years has passed. With the lovely engraving, there is little doubt that the engraved side will be worn and shown off regardless of the time, day or night.
Rose gold has such a wonderful warm colour to it that looks so elegant against the skin, and antique rose gold has that beautiful tone and patina without being too pink or coppery in colour often seen with modern rose gold.
Each link measures 13.6mm wide and is attached to the lovely heart shaped padlock, and from end to end the bracelet measures 19cm. Fitted with a safety chain for added peace of mind, this lovely antique bracelet will always look good, and feel good on the wrist no matter where or when it is being worn.
