Here is a very beautiful antique solid opal and diamond ring that was made in 1919 and looks as beautiful today as when it was made. Set in 18 carat yellow gold, the ring has three solid white opals that show beautiful flashes of red to green and are matched so well for colour. Australian opals are regarded as the best in the world, and these Australian opals are just beautiful. On each side of the centre opal are two single cut diamonds with the four coming together to total 0.08 carats and at the centre of the ring, this distance measures 7.7mm and from left to right it measures 16.3mm. Sitting perfectly on the finger and with a beautiful claw design to not only hold the stones, but to let the maximum amount of light into the opals and diamonds, this is a very elegant and refined antique ring that will always be admired. Measuring 5.6mm wide at the centre by 17.3mm across, the ring has the perfect proportions to put on and leave on all the day and into the night. There is nothing more unique than an opal and here is a very beautiful and unique antique opal and rose cut diamond ring that sits so well on the finger and looks absolutely divine. Dating from the early 1900's, this ring was hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum and set with a solid Australian opal that shows great flashes of all the colours. Australia has long been regarded as the home of the finest opals in the world, and this is a solid white opal from Coober Pedy and set on each side is a lovely rose cut diamond. Rose cut diamonds are one of the earliest forms for cutting diamonds and have a flat base with a pyramid-like top and these diamonds total 0.16 carats. From left to right, the ring measures 15.6mm across by 8.7mm wide at the centre and will suit any finger that it is worn on.
