There is something so special and unique about antique rings, and here is a very attractive antique sapphire and diamond cluster engagement ring that was made in the 1890's and has all the charm and character of yesteryear. Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and sterling silver, this was a combination used during this era as white gold was not yet invented, and platinum, although already discovered, was not used in jewellery until after the 1900's like white gold. In the centre is a very beautiful natural sapphire that measures 0.85 carats and has a perfect blue colour with a beautiful transparency that allows light to enter and dance throughout the stone. Surrounded by eight European cut diamonds, these come together to total 0.80 carats and the diameter of the ring measures 11mm by 9.3mm and sits perfectly on the finger. With beautiful diamonds and a sapphire to match, this is a wonderful example of a genuine antique sapphire and diamond ring that will always be admired and loved. Stock# ES8301 Circa: 1890 $Sold.
