Here is a very elegant 1920's Art Deco amethyst and diamond necklace that is sure to be admired every single time that it is worn. Exquisitely made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, this piece exemplifies the quality and craftsmanship of the Art Deco period. Set with a vibrant amethyst with a wonderful deep purple, the amethyst measures 10.50 carats and really stands out against the pure white of the platinum and the sparkle coming from the diamonds. In the main section with the amethyst there are ninety five rose cut diamonds and four European cut diamonds thatÂ come together to total 0.56 carats. The way that the diamonds are set in is just incredible and is so highly detailed and will have you admiring it for hours on end. And then the top section which leads to the platinum chain is set with a further twenty three rose cut diamonds and three European cut diamonds that total a further 0.20 carats. With the bottom section set with the amethyst measuring 2.1cm wide and from the bottom of this section to the top of the "Y" section at the top measuring 2.6cm, laid out from end to end the chain measures 45cm in length. This will allow it to sit perfectly on the neckline and get the attention that it rightly deserves.
