So beautifully hand made entirely in platinum, in the centre sits a magnificent Colombian emerald that measures 1.80 carats. This emerald shows why Colombia has long been regarded as the country where the best emeralds come from, as this emerald has such a beautiful intense green combined with excellent transparency allowing you to see right through the emerald itself. Then surrounding the emerald are four larger early brilliant cut diamonds and eight smaller early brilliant cut diamonds. The way the cluster has been broken up with the four larger diamonds adds that extra element of difference to a normal cluster ring, and then the setting of both the emerald and the diamonds are all millgrain set. Dating from the 1930's comes this very elegant Art Deco emerald and diamond ring that sits so well on the finger and would also make a wonderful engagement ring.
