This magnificent necklace dates from the Art Deco era of the 1920's and is so refined and is the epitome of class and elegance that Art Deco jewellery is knows for.
Hand made in 18 carat gold and platinum, at the top is a charming bow that is set with three European cut diamonds running down the centre and then is further highlighted with eighteen rose cut diamonds set on each side. The detail in the bow is so beautiful and then below the opal is a further European cut diamond to add that extra element of charm. All of these diamonds come together to total 0.65 carats and they showcase not only the bow design, but highlight the magnificent heart shape opal.
The quality of this opal is just superb and measures 1.96 carats and shows why the Lightning Ridge opal has always been regarded as the best opal in the world. The colours that this opal displays is just amazing, from a deep blue-green colour, all the way to amazing flashes of orange and red that will take your breath away.
The bow section measures 22mm across by 25mm from the top to the lower diamond below the opal, and laid out from end to end, the necklace measures 45cm in length.

Measuring 1.33 carats, the quality of this opal compliments the quality of the diamonds so well and really makes this pendant stand out.
The pendant itself measures 16mm wide at the bottom by 35.8mm to the top diamond where the platinum chain is attached and laid out from end to end the chain measures 45cm allowing the pendant to sit perfectly on the neckline and always be admired.
