Art Deco diamond ring set with 2.47 carats of diamonds
Jewellery from the Art Deco period of the 1920's has remained popular over the years, and here is a truly magnificent genuine Art Deco diamond ring set with 2.47 carats of diamonds in the most incredible design.
Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, the ring itself measures 22.6mm in length by 13.2mm across the accentuates the finger so beautifully. The design alone of this ring exemplifies the quality and craftsmanship of Art Deco jewellery and showcases why it has never gone out of fashion or style.
Set with three large European cut diamonds that total 2.09 carats, around the border as thirty two single cut diamonds that are with a gorgeous scalloped edge. And then on each shoulder are four rose cut diamonds and astonishingly there are a further four rose cut diamonds set on each "corner" of the centre European cut diamond. All of these additional diamonds come together to total 0.38 carats and give this ring so much sparkle and pizazz.
Looking closer at the setting of the diamonds themselves, they have all been millgrain set which can be seen as the elegant crimping along the edge which was popular during the Art Deco period and gives the ring the right finish that compliments not only the diamonds, but the exceedingly high quality of work that went into hand making this ring all those years ago.
There is no doubt that this is a truly magnificent example of an Art Deco diamond ring, and one that will make any woman proud to wear it.
