Hebdomas started producing pocket watches in Switzerland in 1888 and in the early 1900's released their now infamous pocket watch with an astonishing 8-day power reserve, and here is a very stylish vintage Hebdomas 8-day pocket watch made in the 1960's. With their iconic dial showing a visible escapement, the dial is so clean and easy to read with the floral design on each side, and of course the escapement which is such a showpiece of their design. Inside is a massive mainspring that when fully would will run for 8-day as opposed to the more standard 18 to 36 hours or so of a similar sized pocket watch. Fitted in a nickle silver case that measures 50mm across by 70.2mm to the top of the fancy shaped bow, the back of the case displays a wonderful hunting scene that is also so tactile to touch. Inside shows the massive mainspring which has been completely serviced, runs beautifully and comes with our twelve month warranty. Perfect for a collection or for that special gift, this vintage Hebdomas will always be admired every time that it is shown to others. Stock# W1592 Maker: Hebdomas Circa: 1965 $Sold.
