Here is a fabulous Retro era ruby and diamond ring made in the 1950's that looks amazing from the top as well as the sides and has such an architectural look and feel to it. Jewellery of the Retro period were often large and bold in design, and this ring not only exemplifies that, but is highlighted with the combination of rubies and diamonds. Sitting in the centre and running across, are two larger European cut diamonds that total 0.53 carats and on each end are two rose cut diamonds that total 0.02 carats. And then running along on each side are eight rubies with four more set on each shoulder that come together to total 0.32 carats, and highlight the wonderful colour emanating from the 18 carat rose gold. Measuring 10.2mm by 19mm across, this is a stunning ring that is simply perfect for any time of the day or night as well as any occasion where it will no doubt always be cherished. This ruby and diamond ring from the Retro era of the 1950's looks amazing on the finger and will no doubt always get the attention and admiration that it rightly deserves. Made in 18 carat white gold, the borer of rubies accentuates not only the diamonds in the centre, but the emerald cut shape of the top. This top section measures 16mm by 15.2mm across and in the centre it is set with twenty five single cut diamonds that total 0.78 carats that sparkle magnificently. And with the twenty eight carre cut rubies surrounding it, all of this comes together to create such a fabulous ring. The rubies are so vibrant in colour and total 0.56 carats and are all matched so well for colour and clarity.
