Product Information
Product code: N117 Categories: Sold Items, Sold Jewellery.Scottish agate jewellery or pebble jewellery as it is also known, is easily identifiable by the use of agates set into the jewellery such as this lovely antique Scottish agate brooch.
Queen Victoria loved all things Scottish and made Scottish jewellery very sought after and is mostly found made in sterling silver so it is actually quite rare to find one set in gold.
This one dates from the 1870’s and is set with three polished pieces of agate set into 15ct yellow gold ends. Even the ends have been so delightfully hand engraved to add even more charm and character to this brooch. Then the centre piece is actually quite raised really giving this brooch even more beauty and from left to right it measures 3cm by 2.3cm wide.
Priced at $1,350, this is such a character filled antique Scottish agate brooch that will look sensational on any outfit day or night.
