18 carat gold James Picard pocket watch
$9,800.00
Here is a pocket watch that not only looks and feels wonderful to hold in the palm of your hand thanks to the heft of the solid gold case, but is one that also has an incredibly high grade movement.
Made by James Picard in the early 1900’s in a solid 18 carat yellow gold case, even the engine turning design on the front is still so nice and sharp showing how little wear this pocket watch has had in its life. Measuring 50mm across by 73.5mm to the top of the bow, this is a full size gents pocket watch that feels so good to hold.
With a pristine white enamel dial displaying very elegant Roman numerals, the dial is as perfect today as when it was made with no cracks or damage.
Then there is the case which itself still retains its original engine turned design that is in wonderful crisp condition without being worn as many other antique pocket watches of this age often are. With the hinge in equally good condition, opening the back reveals a true work of art.
With the movement protected by not just the traditional gold dust cover, but opening this reveals a further bezel over the movement set with a plexi to protect the movement even more, all the while being able to admire how exquisite it is.
This movement is of exceptional quality and has just been has been fully serviced by our in-house watchmakers who can also service and repair your pocket watch or watch, and comes with our twelve month warranty.
