Hand made in 18 carat white gold in London in 1987, in the centre sits a stunning natural ruby that measures 1.45 carats. With such a fine red colour and clarity that lets you see all the way through the ruby, the claw setting allows the maximum amount of light to enter and dance throughout the stone.
Highlighted on each side by a brilliant cut diamond, the diamonds total 1.14 carats and are the perfect proportions to the ring, and compliment the ruby perfectly.
The top of the setting measures 16.2mm across by 7.6mm and sits so well on the finger where it will always be looked upon with admiration.

This ring was hand made in 18 carat white gold in London in 1987 and set with a magnificent natural ruby that measures 1.45 carats. This ring would suit any finger and make a wonderful ruby and diamond engagement ring or be perfect for a ruby anniversary.
Today on the market there are so many treatments of rubies such as glass filling or lead filling the ruby to alter and enhance the colour. Glass filled rubies are however very unstable and the ruby is prone to cracking, and while these rubies are much cheaper, the quality is simply not there and needless to say that the ruby in this ring has not undergone this treatment
