18 carat white gold and platinum “Toi et Moi” ring from the Art Deco era

This ring was made in the Art Deco period of the 1930’s. Hand made in 18 carat white gold and platinum, it is set with two round early brilliant cut diamonds in an elegant swirl design.

A brief history on the Toi et Moi ring:

The term “Toi et Moi” is French for “You and Me” and is used for a ring with two main stones and this is believed to have started when Napoleon gave Josephine a sapphire and diamond engagement ring in 1776. Finding popularity again during the Edwardian and Art Deco era, Toi et Moi rings are not only distinct and beautiful in their design but also so romantic. This Toi et Moi ring was hand made in France in the Art Deco era of the mid-1920’s and is claw set with two large antique European cut diamonds and eight smaller single cut diamonds. Perfect for any finger and occasion, this Toi et Moi ring would also make a wonderful and very unique Art Deco engagement ring that will always be loved and admired.
