The Art Nouveau period was from the late 1800's to the start of World War One and took so much inspiration from nature as can be seen here in this delightful Art Nouveau era ring that has such a wonderful free form style to it.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold the ring is set with three pieces of natural turquoise that are all matched so well in colour and look so good set into the yellow gold.
Not only does the band wrap around the turquoise, but also leads into a double band going down to the back of the ring.
From the end of one piece of turquoise to the other it measures 16.7mm across by 7mm at its widest point in the centre.
The lovely swirl of the ring makes it look so good on the finger and can easily be worn with modern jewellery as well with antique jewellery and be able to blend in with both.
This is such a charming antique ring from the Art Nouveau era that will always be admired and loved.
