Made in London 1844.
This is a very lovely mourning ring. In wonderful condition, it is made with a central carved onyx, surrounded by seed pearls. Making it all the more wonderful, is the black enamel continuing down the side of the band.
There is also a locket part under the top for hair, and as you can see from the other images, the hallmarks and enamel are still both wonderful condition.
This ring dates from 1844, making it one of the earliest pieces of jewellery that we have at the moment.
