18ct Omega Constellation "Grand Luxe" watch

The Omega Constellation is one of the most iconic watches around, and the 12 sided dial, often referred to as the "pie-pan" dial is the most sought after of all the models.

And then there is the solid 18ct gold Omega Constellation "Grand Luxe" which is the most sought after of them all.

Made in 1959, this Omega Constellation is brilliant in all respects. Firstly the solid gold case is in wonderful condition and measures 34mm across plus the crown.

The crown itself is all original and exactly as it should be - a 10 sided crown only found on the Omega Constellations called the decagonal crown.

The dial itself is the highly sought after 12 sided dial, and only in the Grand Luxe version, did it appear with the lines between each baton hour marker.

The dial is all original and not only is the case made from 18ct gold, but so is the dial itself.

Inside this beautiful vintage Omega is the brilliant 24 jewelled automatic Omega calibre 551 that has been fully serviced and keeps excellent time.

If you were to consider the cost of a new mechanical Omega Constellation in solid gold then consider this perfect classic vintage Omega Constellation, this one will always stand out from the rest and look elegant and beautiful on the wrist and always be admired and commented on.

This really is the best of the best.
