The Retro period of the post-World War II 1940's and 50's was an era that
produced some amazing jewellery designs unlike anything that had been created
before often with large bold designs and the use of 18ct rose gold instead of
yellow gold, and here are a lovely pair of 18ct rose gold earrings in the shape
of a bow and set with diamonds.
So typical of the jewellery designs of
the 1950's, these retro earrings have a wonderful design with the bow and sit
perfectly on the ear.
Each earring measures 14mm across by 17mm making them so
easy to wear day or night.
In the centre is a diamond to set these earrings off so nicely add add to the attraction of them and then at the bottom of each bow, each earring is
milgrain set with 6 rose cut diamonds to add just the right amount of sparkle to these
earrings.
The 14 diamonds total 0.36 carats and look so good where they have been set in the centre and at the bottom and sparkle day or night.
Retro jewellery is so unique and unto itself, and these 18ct rose
gold retro diamond earrings are just so lovely and will definitely be admired.
