18ct white gold Rolex President reference 1803 from 1966

The Rolex President is such an iconic watch with its day and date function that has inspired so many other watches to copy this design, however there is nothing like the original.

Here we have a gents vintage 18ct white gold Rolex President reference 1803 from 1966 that looks as stylish today as when it was made over fifty years ago. Fitted with the pie pan dial this means that it bends down at the edge of the dial giving it such a classic and elegant point of difference to standard flat dials.

But of course the fact that this Rolex President is in 18ct white gold will also separate it from so many other Rolex President watches. More often found in yellow gold, the white gold has such a subdued look to it all the while retaining its iconic design with the day window at the top.

Measuring 36mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, being fitted on a leather band also makes it less ostentatious and can now be so easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Inside is the highly accurate and reliable 26 jewelled automatic Rolex calibre 1556 that keeps perfect time and comes with our twelve month warranty.

This 18ct white gold Rolex President has such a classic look and style to it that will always get the admiration that it deserves.

Description
18ct white gold Rolex President reference 1803 from 1966

Since its release in 1956, the Rolex Day Date “President” has always remained a sought after Rolex model. The Rolex Day Date became one to represent success and accomplishment as it was worn by some very influential people. Becoming known as the “Presidents’ watch” as several US presidents wore one. These included US Presidents such as Dwight Eisenhower, John F Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon. The Rolex Day Date has also been worn by Winston Churchill. Initially the tern “President” referred to the type of bracelet attached to the Day Date, however it soon came to commonly refer to the entire timepiece. The Rolex Day Date 1803 was introduced in 1961 and over the years has undergone some changes. Most notably with the movement, and until recently a now larger watch case.
