Here are a pair of diamond earrings that were made in the Art Deco period that are not only as fashionable today as they were when they were made 100 years ago, but are so comfortable to wear during the day, as well as being perfect for that special evening occasion.
Hand made in platinum and 18 carat yellow gold in the 1920's, each earring is set with one early brilliant cut diamond that leads down to that elegant cluster of eight more diamonds. The diamonds all come together to total 2.16 carats, and looking closer at the setting, you will note that the diamonds are not just bezel set, but are finished with the millgrain setting which is that very beautiful crimping along the edge of the setting. Millgrain setting was typical of the Art Deco jewellery of this era, and just elevates the look and style even more.
Measuring 10mm across by 16.7mm, these truly are such a fabulous pair of diamond earrings that will be perfect for any occasion.
