1948 IWC calibre 89 watch
The IWC calibre 89 was the first movement designed by Albert Pellaton, and was first launched in 1948 in the famous IWC Mark XI, the same year that this watch was made.
Cased in a very elegant 18 carat gold case that measures 36mm across plus the crown, the case is so elegant and reminiscent of the era by have a sleek, smooth bezel and those absolutely gorgeous tear drop lugs that just accentuate the watch perfectly.
With its original dial displaying elegant hands and a sweep second hand all pointing to the numbers on the dial that adds a further element of charm to the watch.
Then of course there is the brilliant and beautiful 17 jewelled manual wind IWC calibre 89 inside. Just back from a complete service by our in-house watchmakers, the movement runs beautifully and comes with our two year warranty.
Fitted on an elegant leather band to complete the look, this is the perfect watch to wear to the boardroom or that evening dinner.
