1952 Omega Seamaster Bumper automatic watch
$2,850.00
“Bumper” automatic movements are an early form of the automatic movements common in watches today, and were one in which the movement was restricted from completing a full 360° and the rotor would literally “bump” back and forth as it is being worn, and here is a very beautiful vintage Omega Seamaster bumper automatic watch dating from 1952.
Made in a gold capped case measuring 34.5mm across plus the Omega crown, thanks in part to the wider than usual bezel and those beautiful thick lugs, this watch looks so much larger on the wrist.
And then there is that dial which is absolutely gorgeous. All original and with such a fine patina, the dial is complimented with the triangular index markers and 3,6 and 9, and the centre sweep second hand. This dial is so beautiful and will look perfect during the day as well as for a special event in the evening.
Inside the watch is powered by the 17 jewelled Omega calibre 354 that has been serviced by our in-store Omega certified watchmaker, runs beautifully and comes with our twenty four month warranty. Not only are we an authorised Omega watch service centre, but our in-house watchmakers can service your Omega watch as well as other brands, so please feel free to bring in your watch or pocket watch for a free quote.
This is such a stylish watch that has all the charm of the 1950’s and will always look superb on the wrist.
